Hi Rene, I'm so touched that non-thai like you had created the page information about H.M King Bhumipol. Thanks for bringing this to the world.

I have to admit. I fell IN LOVE with the movie, so I decided to do some research to see what was accurate and what was not. I was so dissappointed to find out they weren't in love *big tear* Admittedly, though, this site was of interest to me and I now feel enlightened.

Webmaster comments   The movie in question is - without doubt - "Anna and the King".

Hi Mr. Rene, I liked the site very much. but something is missing here, that is information for business class people, who visit bangkok for busieness purpose. Bur I can say that it is the complete information providing site for first time visitors.

Hello Rene, Just like to let you know that my book on Anna Leonowens is available on Amazon now. It is titled 'Fighting for Women's Rights - The extraordinary adventures of Anna Leonowens'. Not many people are aware that she was much much more than what Hollywood portrayed her to be!

Hi Rene, Fanstastic information.I have a small table linen/table decor shop. I am going to Bangkok to buy table linen, table decor etc but I do not see any outlets mentioned? Are there any? I am going to the BIG trade show but would like to visit some markets which these these products. Also I have been told there is a Night Market in Bangkok, but I did not find any mention of this in your Market section.

Webmaster comments   For table linen go to Pratunam market or to Bo Bae Tower. They are both on the "markets" pages. For table decor I would advise a general market, for instance Chatuchak (weekend) market, or MBK (on the "shopping" pages; near Central Station of the skytrain).
If you are looking for high(er) quality table decor, but not in wholesale, go to a department store or a plaza, for instance Central World, or to Narai Phand (opposite Central World).
Sorry, I don't know a night market of any importance in Bangkok.

Plan on visiting Thailand soon. Wanted to see what Temples there are in BKK area where I hope to be staying. The Temples are beautiful and I like the way the site breaks up the sites by location

we are travelling to bangkok to buy clothes dvd etc... where is the CHEAPEST PLACE???? thanks!!!
Monday 9 - 01 - 2006 - GMT 17:53 :24 - sweden

Webmaster comments   For clothes: Pratunam market (near Bayoke Towers) and also Bo Bae Tower (on Damrongrak Road). For DVD's go to Mangpong. There you get them legally and cheap. Don't save a bit more for bad quality. A legal Thai movie will cost 200-400 Baht.
